Short answer: Samsung's own bezel is a slim, magnetic trim, about 1 inch wide, in modern finishes. A decorative frame like FrameForTV's is much deeper (up to 8 cm, about 3.15") and comes in classic picture-frame profiles such as carved gold or stepped wood-look. Choose the bezel for a clean, minimal edge; choose a decorative frame if you want the TV to read as a framed painting.
What is Samsung's bezel?
Samsung sells a "Customizable Bezel" for The Frame. It is a four-piece trim that snaps onto the edges of the TV with magnets, with no tools. Finishes include Modern White, Modern Brown, Modern Teak and a beveled Sand Gold Metal. Each bezel is made for one screen size and model range, so check the size and year on the box before you buy.
Samsung also runs promotions on its bezels with new TVs. In 2026, for example, buyers of a new The Frame or The Frame Pro in 55" to 85" could get a discount on a Modern bezel. Check Samsung's site for current offers.
What is a decorative frame?
A decorative frame is a separate picture-frame profile made to fit around The Frame. FrameForTV frames fit Samsung The Frame (2021–2026) and The Frame Pro, and come in four designs:
- Rome: carved scrollwork with a beaded inner lip
- Kyoto: smooth, stepped profile
- Lisbon: flat, wide band
- Madrid: deep, stepped profile
Each frame arrives fully assembled and is made to order for your TV's size and model.

Which one is right for you?
Choose Samsung's bezel if…
- You like a minimal, modern look and only want to change the TV's edge colour.
- Your wall space is tight and you don't want the TV to get wider.
Choose a decorative frame if…
- You want The Frame to look like a framed painting, not a TV with a coloured edge.
- Your room has classic or traditional decor, such as mouldings, a fireplace or antique furniture.
- You display classic art in Art Mode. Old-master paintings and landscapes look more natural in a carved or gilded frame.
Things to check before you buy either
- Your model number. It's on the label on the back of the TV and contains "LS03". See our compatibility guide.
- Wall space. A decorative frame adds up to 8 cm on each side. Our size chart lists the outside size for each TV size.
- Samsung's bezel. If your TV has Samsung's magnetic bezel, take it off before fitting a FrameForTV frame. The two are not used together.
Frequently asked questions
Is FrameForTV made by Samsung?
No. FrameForTV is an independent brand and is not affiliated with Samsung. Our frames are made only for Samsung The Frame and The Frame Pro.
Does a deeper frame affect Art Mode?
The Frame has a brightness sensor and, on most sizes, a motion sensor. If the screen turns off or dims unexpectedly after fitting a frame, adjust the Art Mode sleep and night settings. Our Art Mode settings guide explains how.
Can I switch back later?
Yes. Unhook the elastic backing and lift the frame off. Nothing is glued or screwed to the TV.
