Short answer: A FrameForTV frame installs on Samsung The Frame in about 2 minutes. It arrives fully assembled, and an elastic backing hooks behind your TV. There is no drilling, no adhesive and no tools, and your TV stays on its wall mount.
Before you start
- Your TV can stay on the wall. You do not need to take it off its mount.
- Check that the frame matches your TV size and model (see our compatibility guide).
- Everything you need is in the box.
Step by step
- Unpack the frame. It comes as one piece. On the back you will see elastic straps across the corners.
- Hold the frame in front of the TV. Line up the opening with the screen.
- Hook the bottom corners. Pull the elastic straps over the bottom corners of the TV, one side and then the other.
- Hook the top corners. Do the same at the top. The straps pull the frame snugly against the edge of the TV.
- Check the fit. Make sure the frame sits evenly around the screen. That's it.
After fitting
Bluetooth remotes work as normal. A deep frame sits close to the TV's light and motion sensor. If Art Mode brightness or auto-off behaves differently, a quick settings change (for example, turning off night mode) usually fixes it.
Taking it off
Unhook the straps from the corners and lift the frame away. You can take the frame off and put it back on whenever you like. Nothing is glued or screwed to your TV.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need tools?
No. The elastic backing does the work. No drilling, no adhesives, no tools.
Will it damage my TV?
The frame sits around the edge of the screen and attaches over your existing wall mount. Nothing is glued or drilled into the TV.
Can one person do it?
Smaller sizes are easy for one person. For 75" and 85" frames, a second pair of hands makes lifting the frame easier.
